Are you feeling “some type of way” most of the day? Do you make yourself “tired”? Women hold a variety of roles – mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, girlfriend, employee – roles that must be fulfilled daily. With the variety of roles that women fulfill on a daily basis, it is no wonder that women experience frequent mood swings, emotional roller-coasters, anxiety, and depression. Sometimes we look in the mirror and can’t identify the person that is looking back at us. We can’t seem to remember who we were before we starting sacrificing ourselves to satisfy others. And it just doesn’t seem to be enough.
You want to feel like you did years ago before the disappointment, the guilt, and the overload of responsibilities and obligations became the priority. You want peace, balance, and harmony. You want a life with little to no drama. You Want and DO deserve better. Sometimes, We have to Fight for Her even if we have to Fight Her.
Are you ready to forgive yourself? Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know before you learned it. — Maya Angelou. Call today to schedule your appointment.

My ideal client is seeking to improve her/his health and well-being through lifestyle behaviors. This person struggles with maintaining physical exercise, a nutritious diet, a healthy weight, and/or is managing multiple physical symptoms due to chronic disease. She/he wants to feel strong and energized, and this person also wants to change behaviors that negatively impact her/his health and well-being. My ideal client wants better health and long-term behavior change so she/he can be more independent and active, and she/he would also like to model healthy behaviors for her/his family.
I believe that all people are capable of reaching their goals. As a Lifestyle Medicine health and wellness coach, my job is to work with individuals one-on-one to 1) identify their health and wellness goals, and 2) co-create a plan to reach those goals. I offer 8-16 session health coaching packages and can provide a 50% needs-based discount on services.
You can attain and maintain good health and well-being. I believe in you. Take a moment and ask yourself these questions: What would it feel like to take ownership of my well-being? If I could improve one thing about my health, what would it be? Who else in my life would my health improvements impact? Be in touch to explore and expand upon these questions.

*****Not Accepting Clients Until AUGUST 2021****** Searching for a therapist can be an overwhelming experience for women and BIPOC communities, so first can I just say thank you. Thank you for having the courage to recognize the issues that are hindering you from being your best self and the willingness to search for help. I believe that you can live up to your potential, so send me an email and let’s get started with your virtual sessions. I only accept private pay and all counseling sessions for Texan residents are online for your convenience. Let’s stay home AND stay well, together.
Since 2009 I have practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor and I am currently a LPC-Supervisor. I am a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) but I am not accepting child clients at this time. My approach is BRIEF STRENGTH BASED SOLUTION FOCUSED THERAPY. I am not accepting LPC-Interns for LPC and RPT licensure in the San Antonio area.
I have counseled children, college students, and adults on a variety of issues with honesty, psycho-education, encouragement, tough love, a listening ear and a bit of humor. *College Students receive a discounted rate at $30 per online session.*No show fees are charged the the card on record.*

I enjoy working with veterans, service members, and their family members. My focus is on women veterans issues, veterans who have had suicidal ideation or survivors of suicide attempts, moral injuries such Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome, colorism, toxic leadership within the military, and adjusting to military service transitions such as separations or retirements. Therapy is not associated with length of service, discharge status, or Veterans Affairs disability rating.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as my primary therapeutic intervention, seeing clients adults individually. All therapy is provided virtually with the exception of those residing in El Paso County, Texas. El Paso County residents are able to request face-to-face appointments on a case-by-case basis based on current local Covid-19 restrictions.
Veterans listen to other veterans. I am passionate about what I do and dedicated to improving the quality of life for my clients by understanding firsthand the sacrifices our military and family members selflessly make. However, I also see the need to talk about the things we didn’t have time to feel or unable to address while serving.

<<>>What lies behind the half-smiles and the obligatory events you attend together? Perhaps you made the kids the singular focus of the family unit in order to justify staying together. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured. Living on autopilot simply because you think there is no other option can be mentally exhausting. As a trained Relationship therapist, I skillfully challenge each partner to recognize their negative cycle and personal baggage. What happens next is one for the books…an aha moment and a desire to break the cycle and start anew.
I help partners identify goals they need to work on in order to create their ideal relationship. I hold each partner accountable for their part in creating and maintaining a flourishing relationship. I am not only your therapist, I am your coach and your educator. I cheer loudest for the underdogs, the relationships that get discounted the most.
It is not an easy decision to join your partner and open up to a complete stranger about your most vulnerable moments. Who knows what will come out of the other partner’s mouth. What you do know is that you owe it to yourself to try and work through the discomfort and find joy again. Contact me today for a free 15-minute video consultation.
