About

Donna J Ford is a Master’s level clinician and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Mental Health Counseling Program. She has provided treatment for adults, youth and transition aged young people in the community mental health field and community/residential substance use field. Trained in several evidence-based models, Donna is bringing over 10 years of training and experience in Functional Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach as well as other therapuetic interventions for Mental Health and Substance Use issues to your area.
Donna’s specialty is working with family groups and individual family members using a strength based, relational approach to help families use their own interpersonal relationships to improve their family functioning. This approach recognizes and develops individual strengths, reduces risk factors, increases protective factors and increases family cohesion.
Ours is a client centered practice focusing on the needs and input of our diverse customers. Intial consultation is provided at no cost if a follow up first session is scheduled provided.
