IMPACCTT Enterprises, PLLC is “Challenging and Changing Thoughts…Healing Hearts…and Restoring Lives”. I am a Therapist trained in creative therapy toward supporting children, youth, and adults with trauma histories, grief, and loss on a path to healing. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression are substantial focus areas. I use trauma informed cognitive behavioral and mindfulness therapies, and educational activities. I am trained in play therapy for children. Video sessions (telehealth) are available. I am a published Author. I am also available for community education and public speaking.
I have over twelve years of experience as a social worker. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan (2000) where I was trained as a Public Child Welfare Fellow in the art of creative therapy for children and adults. I am compassionate and understanding of the impact of abuse and neglect upon children and adults.
IMPACCTT Enterprises is my vision that was birthed out of my experiences with Saginaw County’s foster care system from the ages of five to eighteen. I experienced the best and the worst aspects of care. I believe in healing processes, and I know that extreme hurt can transform into healing. I had to overcome trauma and grief/loss, so I’ve been there.
