About

For nearly three decades, I have been working with in the metropolitan Chicago area helping to build on the strengths of individuals, families and communities. I have many skills and talents in direct service and executive leaderships roles in the non-profit arena. I have managed community mental health centers, residential treatment facilities, and drop-in youth centers. I work to help individuals to identify unhealthy patterns and cycles; and I assist individuals/families with developing new skills to make discovery that lead to positive life changes.
I have training in Family Systems, Trauma Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral approaches, and methods. I am a play therapist, and I specialize in working with individuals impacted by abuse and neglect, specifically relational trauma.
