About

My approach to couples counseling is simple. Once we enter the session there are three outcomes. First, you can decide to stay together. Second, both of you decide this will not work. Third, one wants to stay and one wants to leave. My job is to help you find which is right for you. My theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Because of this, I feel most disagreements in couples counseling is due to misperceptions in how we view situations. My job is to help both parties get to the truth. I also serve as a translator. When people are in conflict, they cannot hear what the other says. I take one parties words and reformulates them in a way the other party can hear.
