About

Adjusting to young adulthood can present many with new challenges; “Adulting” represents freedom at best; and overwhelming at worst. My role as a therapist is to walk with you along this pebbled path, and provide a safe space to build resiliency so you can move towards what you truly value. As a Licensed Master’s level Psychologist (LPA), I specialize in therapy for anxiety, eating disorders, self-esteem, body-image concerns as well as those dealing with adjustment to college and/or life transitions, and support for enhancing communication/interpersonal skills.
Helping those in my community struggling with racial identity and acculturative stress, as well as helping couples improve their relationships, reconnect and improve communication are also important focuses of my practice.
I use a strengths-based, solution-focused approach through a multicultural framework while incorporating Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT). I am passionate about promoting the Health at Every Size perspective towards self-acceptance and body appreciation for all body sizes.
