About

Are you feeling overwhelmed with life, because of stressors at work, or at home? Maybe things are not great with your children, or your significant other. Perhaps it’s even your past? I am here to help you work through those stressors and difficult times, especially when you can’t turn to friends or your family. I have been helping many individuals and families for 17 years. I have helped individuals work through Depression, and heal from various types of trauma, such as domestic violence, sexual abuse and assault, and those remembering child abuse. All of these things can be overwhelming. You don’t have to go through it alone.
As a woman of color, who was born in Nigeria, I am passionate about working with an acute awareness of cultural identity. I work with an understanding as to what impact it has on how we live our lives. I have helped many people struggling with life challenges that connect to their cultural identity.
I strive to create a supportive, warm, and safe space for older children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families to come and work through their issues. I primarily utilize the psychodynamic psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches, amongst other treatment modalities. I look forward to meeting you as you are and working with you.
