About

Are you feeling stressed due to professional responsibilities and don’t know where to turn? Are you a college student struggling to find your way in this new environment? Are you a parent feeling overwhelmed by juggling the many demands of raising a child? I am here to help. I understand that the sense of uncertainty can manifest as anxiety, depression, or even frustration that may come along with the transitional phases of life and am here to help you navigate through them. As a culturally-sensitive CBT therapist, I help clients both process their lives and experiences while also giving them tools to thrive in the future.
I meet you where you are, using a cultural relational approach to therapy, infused with Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT). In short, I honor your unique experiences as an individual while acknowledging the similarities between us and the systems we are apart of, and I help you to function better in your life by providing you with skills.
Whatever your goals are for therapy, I hope to establish a solid partnership with you as we move forward in your journey of healing and goal accomplishment. It is my goal to empower you, challenge you, and equip you with the tools needed to adjust and flow with the changes of your journey.
