About

Searching for a therapist can be overwhelming, even more so when you are going through life challenges and have limited energy to spare. Therapy can provide a space for healing, clarity, and growth, and the relationship between therapist and client has been found to be the most important ingredient in that process. I approach my work with flexibility, compassion, and a deep respect for self-determination. I firmly believe you are the expert in your experience.
My practice utilizes cognitive-behavioral, somatic, and relational techniques to explore how your concerns have developed and help you build skills to interrupt the cycles that detract from your quality of life. I integrate a psychodynamic lens to unpack both present day issues and their underlying causes which can often be found in early life experiences.
My style is a blend of my professional training, educational background, and my own experiences as a therapy patient. I do my best to provide a non-judgmental, warm, and collaborative environment so that we can talk honestly to address your needs. I am a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and particularly enjoy working with Black, Brown, Indigenous, and POC clients.
