About

I am an expert in health and geriatrics and specialize in the treatment of adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, multicultural issues, grief, as well as work stress and burnout. My approach to helping clients in this work is present-focused, client-centered, strength-based, and grounded in positive psychology. Everyone goes through periods when they question what makes them who they are, or experience a stressful life transition or striving for work-life balance. I am passionate about helping clients who are interested in actively engaging in treatment to live more fulfilled lives.
Psychotherapy is most beneficial when you feel understood and supported by your therapist. I strive to create a safe space to do this work. I use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as motivational interviewing and mindfulness therapies to help you achieve your goals.
I’m glad you’re here. It can feel uneasy to reach out to a psychologist, especially when, generally speaking, your life might be pretty good. You deserve to take time for yourself. I see my role as supporting my clients in their journey of growth, and I value collaborating with my clients to ensure we are adjusting to meeting your needs.
