About

Hi! I am Shari, a licensed social worker who was trained at Columbia University. I only virtual therapy. I currently work under the supervision of Amira Crawford, LCSW-R, in Brooklyn, NY at Therapists for Black Girls. I specialize in supporting Black Gen Zers and Millennials. I have worked with a diverse group of people including LGBTQIA+, religious, military, law enforcement and immigrant/first-generation communities. I utilize affirmations-based, solutions-focused, cognitive behavior, and narrative therapy using an anti-oppressive, strengths-based and trauma-informed lens. My clients include individuals, couples and families.
Feeling stressed? Feeling frustrated? Unsure how to cope with recent changes? Lingering feelings of unworthiness? Experiencing burnout? Whether these feelings stem from work, relationships, life transitions or something else, I can support you in accessing strategies to overcome these issues. I will deliver quality therapy services with customized treatment.
Therapy is an interdependent process between client and therapist. You are the expert of your life experiences and I have studied therapeutic modalities. Together, we can help you achieve healing. If you are interested in working with me contact me for a free consultation. I look forward to meeting you! My schedule is Saturday 8am-4pm and Sunday 9am-5pm.
