About

You’ve been going through it. Your partner, friends, and family see it too. You just want to move on with your life, but don’t know how. It happens to us all at some point, but you’re still unsure about talking to someone. Going to therapy is a huge step for yourself because you’ve felt tired of be tired long enough. For me, the therapy experience goes best as a conversation between people as if over coffee or tea. If this sounds like you, it looks like you’re up for a chat. I’m looking forward to joining your journey.
I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Gender and Women’s Studies along with intersectionality and creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people. As a Black Queer Woman, I feel it’s important to be mindful to meet people where they are based on identity as related to mental health needs.
Everyone struggles with baggage. Sometimes it’s with our families baggage too. Unpacking that baggage is scary and no one ever needs to do it alone. I’m here to be the porch sitting neighbor to process with on what’s been holding you back to get you moving forward. This is a personal investment in yourself and it’s time you know you’re worth it.
